Afghanistan: Islamic State group claims responsibility of mosque attack in Kandahar

The Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for the deadly mosque attack in southern Afghanistan that killed dozens of people in a Shia mosque. Suicide bombers attacked a Shia mosque packed with worshippers attending Friday prayers in Kandahar province which killed at least 47 people and injured 70 others, Turkish public broadcaster TRT reported.
