UK variant of Covid-19 has mutated again: Scientists

Scientists have found that the Kent variant of Covid-19, which has been spreading around the UK, appears to be undergoing some worrying new genetic changes. The tests on some samples showed a mutation, called E484K, which has already been found in the South Africa and Brazil variants. According to the scientists, although this change may reduce vaccine effectiveness, the current ones in use should still work.
