With an investment of Rs 50 lakh cr, Indian Railways to be best in world by 2030

The government is planning for an investment of Rs 50 lakh crore in Indian railways by the year 2030, Union Railways Minister Piyush Goyal said on Saturday. The move is aimed to make railways the best in the world. The rail infrastructure in the country increased by mere 30 per cent in the last 65 years due to the lack of adequate investment, the minister added.
